Baby update

The baby update is that there is no baby yet.  He needs to come before tomorrow or by early morning because if he hasn't arrived I'll need to go in for another ultrasound to check amniotic fluid and see how he's doing.  I really don't want to have to do that and pay for it!  I'd rather pay more money to the midwife than for more stuff....more stuff....more stuff.  

I seriously wonder what's up with my body not wanting to start contractions.  Honestly I think that yes, my body will do what it needs when its time, but I won't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind.  With Daniel I was 14 days late, 5cm and they ended up breaking my water to get things going and had to take more tincture to keep contractions strong.  With Jonathan I was 5cm for 2 weeks before he was born at 9 days late.  Contractions started, then slowed, and then picked up again.....  Now I'm 4cm, and 13 days late.  When?  

I haven't taken castor oil for a couple of reasons.  1) Its extremely nasty x's 100 and didn't work with Daniel and I have no desire AT ALL to try it again.  2) My midwife would rather me NOT be anymore miserable during labor than I have to - if he even actually worked.  It will be taken at very last resort and when I would have to take it - a baby WOULD be born one way or another.  

Tomorrow if I have to have an ultrasound and everything is good I get 2-3 more days and if nothing, then I'd have to take a whole bottle of castor oil (with my midwife here) and we'd get things going.  Pray I don't go that far!!!!!!!!!

Today I've stayed home from church with Jonathan to see if I could get things going, or at least not have to be at church in case something happened.  Its been a nice day, minus the fact that Micah hasn't decided to arrive.  Daniel very happily went to church with Stephen and I'm sure is having a good time with the Aunts.  

So, overall, its getting rather depressing that we're still waiting for Micah to come.  Plus the longer he waits its buy more supplements, more this, more that.  

I need to just relax and know that God is in charge.  

Our morning

Hi, its me.  I'm sitting here with it all quiet in the house as both boys are sleeping.  Its very nice.  The littlest guy should be here already, but he's sleeping at the moment too.

Stephen's computer is having issues.  When I press shift+o it doesn't give me a capital o, but if I don't press shift it works just fine.  Same with the letter l, and 9.

This morning I went grocery shopping for 4 hours!  And spent about that plus a couple zeros behind it.  Its very nice to have things like, oh, deodorant, razors, soap to wash your clothes with, dishwasher soap, soap for the kids...and Micah when he arrives..., FooD!  Diapers, diaper gene refills *I've missed my diaper gene!!*, disposable diapers for people to use after Micah's born, and all your normal food stuff.  Plus some extras like a couple of pairs of christmas earrings, glue, construction paper, and glitter to go in our slime I want to make.  Except I forgot borax powder.  Thankfully I had Amy here to help with carrying everything in for me!  I think I would have died...or at least it would have taken a very long time for me to carry a couple bags in each time.  Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.  :)

Now that our house is restocked, its time for the baby to come.  :)  

Bumped Nose

Poor Jonathan's face - seems to always have a bump on it these days.  Whether its falling out the door and scratching his head, or his momma letting him get a sunburn that blisters, or today falling out the trampoline and scratching his nose on the cinder block step....  He looks awfully cute though with a scratched nose.  And the weather is cooler today so we can just call him Rudolf.

Baby week

This coming week MUST be baby week.  It has to be, there is no other choice.

At least 3 babies need to be born this week - they WILL be born actually.  I'm 6 days over due, another friend is 11 days overdue, and another friend from church is going to be induced on Thursday.  So these babies HAVE to be born.  Its just a matter of when.

And so we wait.

We have Amy here with us for a couple of days and the boys are super excited to have her here!  Life will be fun with someone to play with!  And hopefully the baby will be born while she's here so we have an extra person to care for them during the birth.

Dirt

The boys love dirt.  Its their favorite thing to do these days - especially since I put almost all their toys away minus their cars.  It hasn't seemed to bother them at all!

Eggs eggs eggs

My boys like eggs.  Err, let me rephrase, my boys LOVE eggs.  They will eat as many eggs as you'll give them in the morning and then ask for more.  They each will chow down 2 eggs each and then ask for more - to which you will say "I'm sorry, that's all the eggs today, would you like the nastiest strawberries ever instead?"  They will say yes, and cheese please too.

So when you come here, and fix eggs for the boys for breakfast, know that 1 or 2 eggs each is not enough.

So its November something, oh, its November 7th. Which means, I'm 2 days over due with Micah, and we are all waiting impatiently. I'm going to try and make this more about the boys and what its like having three little guys who are 2 1/2 and under. :)

Or like, how difficult it is to go to the bathroom by yourself, and if your intention is to get a little time away from the kids - hiding or shutting the door behind you is NOT a good idea.

Or, how when at your baby appointment your 2 year old says (as he hears another baby's heartbeat) "Mommy, its another baby Micah!"

Or, what spraying poopy cloth diapers is like....wait, you probably don't want to hear about that.

And pictures...very important. Now that I have a camera again, taking pictures will be a good thing.
